DIY Mickey Mouse party bags

Oakley is soon turning 1 and i am doing a Mickey mouse themed party for him. I had a long list of things i wanted to buy off etsy however so many things were really expensive and also because a lot of products were from USA the shipping was £23+ per item. I had a look through to see what i could make myself and these party bags turned out really cheap to make myself. Granted they would have probably been better quality and less "diy" but I'm super happy with how they turned out.
They are really easy to make and are a great alternative to the standard party bag.

To make the Mickey mouse bags you will need:

Coloured card (black, red & white) - Hobbycraft
Paper party bags - Party Delights
Glue stick/gun

I chose the party bags with handles but if you prefer you can buy the ones with out. To make the party bags all you need to do is cut out two ears per bag - i drew around a cup but you can print off a template online - then i stuck them to either side of the bag.

To make Mickeys shorts i drew around the bottom half of the party bag on to red card and made a template then drew around it to make the rest so they were all the same size.

Then make the buttons by cutting out two white ovals and sticking it all together. I then filled the party bags with lots of goodies and they fit so much stuff in with room for cake!

I hope this was helpful if you are planning a party and helps you save some money!
