Max Factor 3 in 1 Face Finity - Review

Hello hello! I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend and its now back to work for most. I as usual spent a little time shopping and picked up some great things. On Friday i took a quick trip into boots (never a quick trip) and found some new products i wanted to try,

Max factor isn't a brand I'm really drawn to, i don't know why but i always just skip it. I saw a few people talking about the Face finity foundation, it just caught my eye and as I'm always trying new foundation's to find the perfect one i thought i would give it a try.

Face finity is a 3 in 1 foundation which clams it is a primer, concealer and foundation all in one, sounds brilliant rite? I have tried the face finity powder in the past and i did really like it so this foundation seems very promising. Over the years the type of foundation i like has changed, i used to want full full cake face matte coverage and now i prefer a more dewy natural foundation that still cover's my acne scaring well and lasts me through out the day, i found it!

The packaging is a nice glass bottle with a gold and black lid, very high end looking but not so great for travelling. It has a pump and you guys know how much i love my pumps so that is a win over my usual Revlon colour stay. The colour selection isn't that great, i choose warm almond which was the lightest my boots had and it does match me really well but i can see that being a little issue for some.

I apply this with my real techniques buffing brush and it does really need buffing in well so its best to start with a little and build it up. As it states it is a "concealer" i didn't put any concealer on just went straight in with it and considering i was going out all day this was brave of me as i have alot of redness around my nose and scaring. First thing is that it not very thick when you pump it out and i was wondering how that would cover and a little goes a long way with this product.

It cover's like a dream! I looked in the mirror and was like "whatttt" my redness and scaring was covered, it looks so nice on my skin and can be built up to a more heavy coverage. The finish is matte but with a slight dewy appearance and is the perfect look on the skin and exactly what i wanted. The foundation lasted me all day without sinking into my dry patches and still looking great when i went to take it off, maybe a little wear but still better than any other foundation i have tried. The only downside is that is has SPF which some people will like but i do prefer a foundation without one because of the flash back.

I'm really impressed with this foundation i bought mine from boots for @11.99 and would highly recommend it to you all.

  3. this foundation sounds like a bad face day savior - Primer, concealer and foundation in one?!
How much would you recommend this foundation for people with slightly oilier skin?

    1. Hmm it depends how much oily your skin is? i would say if there was only a slight amount of oil on the skin it would be fine as it is matte but you would need to set with a powder, if you are quite oily i would probably stay away from it as although it is matte it does have a slight dewy finish x

  5. I'm the same, I always skip the counter, I think It's because personally I think it looks quite old like most of the packaging and that :) But I've been wondering about the concealer claim for redness so I think it may be worth a go! :) xx
