Hi ladies! As I'm sure most of you are aware Easter weekend starts tomorrow which means a four day weekend for most and alot of eating chocolate eggs then hating ourselves for it after wards!
I thought id so something a little bit fun on my nails to show the new Loreal Confettis top coat and as its Easter what better way than "Mini egg nails". When every i see this painted over a pastel colour it instantly reminds me of yummy mini eggs.
Loreal recently bought out their version of Confetti nails, a slight copy of the illamasqua ones I'm sure you have all seen. What it basically is, is a clear topcoat filled with different sized and shaped black and white flecks in a simple but classy clear bottle with a black lid. Just like any other type of glitter or a polish with chunky bits in it i find the best way to apply it, is to dab it onto the nails instead of the usual strokes. What i like about it is you decide how much you want to put on the nails and can create different looks.
The picture i took of my nails, i took today and i painted these on Monday. Apart from the slight bit of chipping on the end of the pink my nail polish has stayed on for 4 days which for me is amazing as my hands are constantly in water, cleaning etc I'm lucky to get a day out of any polish and i really have noticed a different with the staying power when applying this top coat.
The loreal "confettis" top coat retails for £4.99 and is a great topcoat to add to your collection for something a little different to your standard nail polish.
Just for added cuteness here's a picture of my little Easter bunny!
Have a great Easter everyone!!
