Barry M Gelly Nail Paint - Grapefruit

Hi everyone! I just want to firstly say thank you to all my followers, i hit 400gfc followers yesterday and i know in blogger land that may not be a lot to some of you but I'm over the moon that 400 people have read and liked my blog enough to follow so thanks to all of you :)

I wanted to share with you guys a new polish i recently purchased. I have seen the Barry m gel hi shine nail polishes but never picked one up as i usually have a gel manicure on my nails. I recently stopped getting gels and saw the Barry m nail paints and thought i would give the gelly hi shine Polish in Grapefruit a try. First let me apologise my camera is making the polish look alot brighter than it is, in my pictures it looks more like a hot pink but in real life its more of a coral grapefruit pink - i guess that's where the name came from. I think the idea is that they give the same sort of shine as a gel polish would and you wouldn't need to apply a top coat and i can confirm they are alot more shiny than a normal nail paint.

With the first coat the polish is a little streaky and definitely needs two applications and the shine is incredible for a nail polish, the only down side i found to these is that they peel off really quickly i get about a day or two at a push compared to a normal nail paint which i think last a while longer. The colours that barry m has in the gelly hi shine are so nice, they are perfect for summer and i will be picking up dragon next time.

Have you tried any from the range?
