This is the first product i have ever bought from MUA. When i first saw the heaven and earth palette all over blogger and how it was compared to the naked palette i didn't immediately want to buy it, i do like my naked palette but i feel like the colours don't always suit my skin tone, i cant put my finger on why but hey that's a whole other story
I was doing a super drug order on line and i wanted a new brown eyeshadow as I'm a blue eyed blonde hair girl brown tone eye shadows suit me best and i only really ever wear nudes and browns. I read a rave review on here of the heaven and earth palette from MUA and how amazing it was (i cant remember who wrote it) and when i looked at the colours on line it has some really nice shades so i added it to my basket.
It was £4.00, £4.00 for 12 shadows isn't bad at all. When i first tried to open it, i basically couldn't the thing just wouldn't open, i even broke two nails trying and the thing wouldn't budge, i thought great its a piece of poop no wonder its £4.00, eventually i had to force it open with a knife (what a faff) i think i just had a bad one. The not being able to open it aside the packaging is OK its the same as the beauty UK palettes clear plastic on top and black on the bottom.
When i swatched the first shadow with my finger it felt so silky and smooth it really glides onto the skin but i did find them powdery and thought i would have alot of fall out. The pigmentation of the MUA shadows are amazing i was a little bit shocked to be honest at how much colour pay off there is, the colour varieties are great too its the perfect nude palette and i prefer the colours in this to my naked 1 and 2 palette as i think it has nicer dark browns. When i applied them to my eyes they blend like a dream i didn't really need to work my brush too much.
Over all i can 100% say i will be purchasing more of the MUA eyeshadow palettes and look into their other products.
Below is a quick look i did this morning i used shade 9 over my lid, 5 in the crease and 1 as a highlight, i did get a little fall out but no Major drama.
