* Rendezvous, Honey, Love sick
Revlon seems to be coming out with some great lip products, when they bought out the lip butters i think everyone was impressed. When i saw these on you tubers from America a while ago i knew i couldn't wait until they came out in the UK, I'm a big fan of Revlon and i do love their previous lip stains although they tend to dry out and be hard to apply.
I was reading through blogger on Saturday when i saw Louise from sprinkle of glitter had made a post about these and i knew i had to go and buy them, i went down to my local boots and they only had 4 colour testers and these 3 colours to buy so i picked all three up but there are 7 colours to choose from in the UK.
I purchased these for £5.99 but will soon go up to £7.99, the price is OK as the packaging isn't too flashy its nice and simple which i like and you dont need to go and buy a huge pencil sharpener as they have a twist up nib thing at the bottom, however a low point is there isn't much product in it, for such a large pencil theres less than half as product
Product fully twisted.
The colours i picked up were rendezvous, honey and love sick. Rendezvous is a bright orange and you can lightly use is for a tint to the lips or build it up to make a nice orange colour.
Secondly is honey, this is a nice pink colour similar to my favourite lip stick from Revlon which is pink pout, i found with this colour as it wore over they day it went kind of a red pink colour, my natural colour of my lips is quite a vibrant red and i think as it wore off and reacted with my lips it changed colour, please let me know if anyone else found this?
Lastly i picked up lovesick, my favourite of all three the colour on my lips is a bright pink similar to the kind of colour i get when i apply lollipop lip butter.
These have great staying power when you apply it because there so glossy i didn't have much faith it would stain but it really does, the darker colour love sick seems to have the best stain, these did last me all day but with eating drinking etc it wore off my top lip more and to keep the colour all day i needed to apply it twice, still not bad at all.
The only downside to the kissable balm stains is when you apply them they have a really horrible peppermint smell, not a nice minty smell like a cheep peppermint smell i actually hated but as you apply them you cant smell it at all.
Has anyone else tried these? did you have the same thing with honey changing colour?
